Winter is Coming!

Help us keep homeless New Yorkers healthy and warm this winter!
Every year, winter in New York City can reach below freezing temperatures with strong winds and snow, and no one should face an icy winter without proper clothing. A hat and scarf can go a long way to help a person's well-being. As the weather grows colder, CFH runs an annual Winter Accessories Drive to help keep homeless New Yorkers warm. This year's drive will be held from November 1 to January 31, 2018.

List of Supplies Needed:
  • Hats
  • Gloves

If you are unable to send school supplies, there's a ton of other ways you can help!

1. You may make a cash donation here. Simply visit our donations page and select "Where the need is greatest" in the "Apply my donation to" drop-down. Be sure to write "Winter Drive" in the notes to apply your donation to the CFH Winter Accessories Drive.

2. You can host a supply drive at your office, church, community group, or with your friends. We can help you achieve this! With some tips and instructions to help you put together a successful drive.

3. You can also increase the value of your donation if you shop regularly on! Give a try and select Care for the Homeless as your charity! Amazon donates .5% of your total amount of eligible purchases to Care for the Homeless.
